Cool rope aesthetics - the perfect strap for minimalist street photography

Anyone who wanted a camera strap with a climbing rope look previously had to make do without the anchor connections from Peak Design - and buy their individual style with less comfort. Previous solutions also came with clunky fasteners or fiddly loops and only Leash, Slide and Slide Lite had the option of quick camera changes.
With the Rope Strap, the optimum quick-release fastener is now finally also available on a high-quality harness rope. Urban design aesthetics have always been a trademark of Peak Design, and here they can be seen and felt: the smooth and pleasantly soft feel, the slim connectors, color-matched to the rope - everything is a perfect unit. Top haptics and made for cool cameras like the Fujifilm X-100, the look fits just as well with the retro-style analog camera, which combines form and function.

Strong look, reliable hold

The specially developed nylon-polyester rope offers the ideal combination of padding, elasticity and resilience. The special basket weave not only gives it an unmistakable, individual look, but also ensures impressive robustness. With a diameter of 10 mm, Peak Design specifies a load limit of 82 kg. Despite this, the ropes retain a certain elasticity, which makes them very comfortable to wear.

Sturdy eyelet for single-point use and anchor plate with camera screw

Do you have a particularly lightweight point-and-shoot camera and only want to use one of the suspension points? Then you can pull one of the anchor links through the eyelet discreetly attached to the rope and attach it. This way, all rope variants also cut a perfect figure in this carrying variant. And anyone who has already used the other Peak Design harnesses will recognize the Anchor Plate. The small aluminum camera plate with its ultra-flat profile is hardly bulky and provides a stable holding point on the base plate. The camera hangs with the lens facing downwards on the body - a particularly agile position that many people prefer.

The proven Anchor-Link system ensures lightning-fast and ultra-safe camera changes. The color-coordinated, extra-flat anchor housings fit seamlessly into the design. Each Anchor holds up to 90 kg - so the Rope Strap carries everything from a compact travel camera to a heavy DSLR - but comfort and style certainly harmonize best with the urban point n shoot or DSLM. Despite the newly designed connectors, the rope straps and cuffs are backwards compatible with all Peak Design Anchor Links.

Four lengths to choose from

There are four different versions to ensure that there is a suitable length for everyone: The shortest, at 78.5 cm, is designed for carrying the camera around the neck. The three different crossbody variants, Short, Standard and Long Crossbody, are classic shoulder slings that are available in lengths of 103 cm, 118 cm and 133 cm.
