TAMRON-LINK

By connecting the TAMRON-LINK to a TAMRON lens, users can conveniently control various lens functions via Bluetooth using a smartphone. This connection accessory eliminates the need for cable connections, improves efficiency when shooting on location and enables a more flexible and seamless workflow. It supports both iOS and Android devices, allowing users to conveniently use the TAMRON Lens Utility™.

Notes on using TAMRON-LINK

To ensure stable and optimal performance of this product, please note the following points:

1. Operating environment

• This product is not guaranteed to work with all Bluetooth-enabled devices.
• Operation may become unstable or communication may be subject to delays or interruptions depending on radio conditions, physical obstacles and the status of connected devices in the environment.
• Communication may be interrupted or slower when used near devices operating in the same 2.4 GHz band, such as microwaves or Wi-Fi devices.
• The range and speed of wireless communication are approximate and may vary depending on the operating environment.

2. Connection and firmware

• TAMRON-LINK can only be used in Japan, the US, Canada, the EU, the UK and China (including Hong Kong and Macau).
• (As of February 2026)
• Please note that the mobile version does not support firmware updates for lenses; the PC version must be used.
• In order to use TAMRON Lens Utility and TAMRON-LINK, the firmware of the compatible lens must be updated to the latest version. Information on firmware updates can be found on the support page.

3. Miscellaneous

• Battery consumption on the camera and connected device may be accelerated with a Bluetooth connection.
• Registration with the connected device is required for first-time use.
• This product must not be used in environments where it could affect the function of medical devices or the safe conduct of flight operations.
• TAMRON accepts no responsibility for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of this product.
