DaVinci Resolve Studio Software by Blackmagic Design is a major release with cloud-based workflow features for new ways of remote collaboration. You can host your project libraries in Blackmagic Cloud and edit the same timeline with other users around the world in real time. The new Blackmagic Proxy Generator automatically creates proxies linked to the original camera footage, speeding up the editing workflow. Support for Apple M1 Ultra gives you a powerful image processor and eliminates the need for expensive cloud computing. There are new Resolve FX like "Ultra Beauty" and "3D Depth Map", improved subtitling for editors, GPU-accelerated painting in Fusion, real-time playback of title templates, bus conversion from Fixed to FlexBus and more.

Cloud collaboration

• Blackmagic Cloud: DaVinci Resolve now supports Blackmagic Cloud so you can host your project libraries on the DaVinci Resolve Project Server in the cloud.
• Share projects and collaborate with editors and colorists, VFX artists and sound engineers anywhere in the world on the same project at the same time.
• Blackmagic Proxy Generator: The Blackmagic Proxy Generator app automatically creates and manages proxies from the original camera footage. When you create a watched folder, new footage is automatically converted to H.264, H.265 or ProRes proxies for accelerated editing workflows.
• For offline tasks, you can drag proxies into a separate folder.
• Simplified proxy workflow: Switch between original footage and proxies with a single click! DaVinci Resolve knows to find the proxies generated by the Blackmagic Proxy Generator in the directory tree and immediately links them to the camera originals in the Media Pool.

Color

• Intuitive Object Mask: The object mask in the Magic Mask palette can detect and track the movement of thousands of specialized lenses.
• For advanced secondary grading and effects, the DaVinci Neural Engine intuitively crops animals, vehicles, people, food and countless other elements.
• Automatic Depth Map: With the Depth Map effect, a 3D depth map of a scene can be created in an instant to nimbly rework the foreground or background independently in terms of color.
• This allows you to draw the eye to the action in the foreground, highlight interviewees in the frame or add atmosphere to the background of the scene.

• Enhanced Subtitles: Enhanced subtitle support includes Timed Text in TTML and XML formats and embedded subtitles in MXF/IMF. View and import subtitles from media storage, create areas to support multiple, simultaneous subtitles per track or specify individual presets and text positions to differentiate speakers.
• Shape, Iris and Wipe in reverse direction: Transitions in the "Shape", "Iris" and "Wipe" categories now have a checkbox in the effects library to conveniently reverse the transition direction.
• This offers you additional flexibility when using these transition types and thus further creative possibilities.
• 25 simultaneous multicam perspectives: An option for 5x5 in the multicam view allows you to view up to 25 different perspectives simultaneously in a single multicam clip. Ideal for large multicam projects!

Chapter markers for YouTube and QuickTime: When delivering in QuickTime formats or direct uploads to YouTube, chapter markers can be automatically created from timeline markers of a specific color. • GPU-accelerated painting: In DaVinci Resolve, brush strokes are generated and displayed GPU-accelerated in real time. This allows for a more intuitive approach to cover-up or graphic design.
• Instant visual feedback lets you evaluate and correct your work with brush strokes or shapes of any kind.
• Accelerated text and shapes: The speed and rendering performance of templates for text, text+ and shapes has been improved. Fusion templates are up to 200 percent faster thanks to new memory management and data handling. You can view the accelerated results in the viewer and create motion graphics compositions faster than ever.

• legacy projects to FlexBus: FlexBus is Fairlight's flexible audio bus and routing system for managing multiple tracks, extensive plug-in processing, perfect synchronization and creation of multiple project deliverables.
• Now Fairlight projects in fixed bus mode can be easily converted to FlexBus with a single click.
• Automatic binaural rendering: To support the rendering of stereophonic outputs from a complex Dolby Atmos mix, the Dolby Atmos deliverables toolset has been extended.
• A 7.1.4 Dolby mix can be rendered for playback on headphones in a way that preserves the immersive sound experience even with only two audio channels.
• Decompose Nested Timelines: New options in the "Decompose" menu enhance collaboration by allowing editors to compile their work into a single timeline. When decomposing nested timelines, all track data, including FX and automation, is now preserved.
• Tasks are connected via new busses, no patching is required for existing paths or new tracks.
• Innovative 3D display with Space View: DaVinci Resolve offers native support for the latest industry-standard audio formats, including Dolby Atmos, Auro 3D, MPEG-H, NHK 22.2 and SMPTE. The Space View Scope displays a real-time view of each object in relation to space and other objects in 3D space.

DaVinci Resolve introduces the new Photo module, bringing Hollywood's most advanced color correction tools to the world of photography! With a new generation of AI tools, you can search media for content, read film panel data, rejuvenate faces, remove skin blemishes and much more. The Montage and Editing modules offer improved keyframing functions and support for more graphic formats. Workflows in the Color module are optimized with trim passes, layer list view in the Node Editor and group versions. Fusion offers over 70 new graphic elements via the powerful Krokodove toolset. The new folder function in Fairlight simplifies the management and navigation of audio tracks. In addition, Resolve now supports immersive and VR workflows even more comprehensively for state-of-the-art production environments.

• Search content with AI IntelliSearch: Find people and objects in an instant with AI IntelliSearch. Analyze media and use IntelliSearch to find specific objects or keywords in dialogues. You can even search for specific faces!
• The results appear as complete clips in the media library, making organization and editing much faster.
• Advanced AI Speech Generator: Create professional voice recordings from text using Blackmagic voice models or based on your own voice. The DaVinci AI Neural Engine can generate a customized speech synthesis from a 10-second clip.
• With adjustable speed, pitch and emphasis, voiceovers or narration can be created in several variations.
• Focus adjustment with AI CineFocus: Determine the focus point of a recording with AI CineFocus. Click on the desired area in the image and adjust the aperture, focus and depth of field. Advanced settings allow you to select the aperture shape and add optical effects such as bokeh.
• All parameters can be keyframed to shift focus.
• AI Face Age Transformer: Change the age of a person using the AI Face Age Transformer tool. Analyze a face, specify the person's age and adjust the age offset slider to remove age-related features such as wrinkles or add volume. Perfect for flashbacks or scenes with time jumps
