Binoculars are practical for hand-held use, but high magnifications can cause annoying vibrations that blur the image. The Atera II ED H16×50WP is equipped with an image stabilization system that has a 2-axis gimbal control system and effectively compensates for vibrations. Two types of vibration suppression modes that can be selected as required
The ATERA II ED H16x50WP offers two vibration suppression modes that can be switched depending on the scene of use. The V1 mode absorbs small vibrations, while the V2 mode compensates for slower and larger movements.

Three different optical coatings provide a clear and sharp field of view
All lens surfaces are coated with more than seven layers of anti-reflective multilayer coatings (flat multi-coatings), providing Vixen's highest level of anti-reflection. This reduces light loss compared to ordinary 3-layer multi-coatings and provides exceptional contrast and brightness.

Phase-coated prisms reduce halation and significantly increase resolution. Each optical surface of the auxiliary prisms is equipped with super high reflective (SHR) coatings that utilize dielectric multilayers

. These three optical coatings eliminate stray light and light loss at an exceptionally high level, resulting in a sharp and detailed view with high contrast that only a top-of-the-line model can provide.

Hydrophobic coatings ensure a clear view
The adhesion of dirt on the lens, especially on the eyepiece, can impair the high optical performance of the binoculars by reducing contrast and resolution. The ATERA II ED H16×50WP is therefore equipped with a special coating that prevents dirt from adhering to the surfaces of the objective lens and eyepiece, so that you can achieve the best possible performance every time you use them. Even fingerprints or dirt can be easily wiped off so that the surface always remains clean.

The grip strap helps you hold the binoculars securely with one hand
The supplied grip strap reduces hand fatigue by using not only the grip strength but also the back of the hand. This allows you to hold the binoculars with one hand even during prolonged use without tiring. This is particularly useful at concerts. The strap is available in five colors and is adjustable. A neck strap is also included as standard.

The ergonomic shape and user-friendliness of the binoculars
The narrow middle section of the binocular body, which is also the center of balance, allows easy handling with the fingers. Despite the large 50 mm aperture, the model offers excellent grip and minimizes fatigue even during prolonged use. Other features include a smooth-running focusing wheel that can be operated with one finger, a universal design for left and right-handed users and a battery compartment that does not hinder finger movements.

Up to 16 hours operating time with two AAA batteries
The binoculars can be operated continuously for up to 16 hours with just two AAA alkaline batteries. It has an auto shut-off feature that automatically shuts off after 90 minutes of inactivity to extend battery life (based on new alkaline batteries at 20°C). The battery cover is integrated into the housing so there is no risk of losing it, even in the dark.

Waterproof design for safe outdoor use
The binoculars have a waterproof specification (optical system: IPX7 equivalent, battery compartment: IPX4 equivalent) filled with inert nitrogen gas, allowing safe use both indoors and outdoors. It is supplied with a practical binocular bag containing transparent pockets for smaller items.
