The Vespera III is equipped with the same sensor as the Vespera II, but has a few useful enhancements

• The optical design of the telescope is inspired by Petzval, as is now standard for short lens telescopes for astrophotography. The advantage is a flat field of view and excellent correction of the chromatic aberration produced by glass lenses.
• The internal image memory of the Vespera III is significantly larger at 115 GB.
• The battery capacity has also been significantly increased compared to the cheaper Vespera II and now allows an operating time of around 11 hours.
• The Vespera III is equipped with a hygrometer.
• The USB-C cable is now not only used to charge the battery, but also to transfer the images.
• The Vespera III is supplied with a height-adjustable aluminium tripod.

CovalENS
is a function of Vespera III that allows users to create mosaic images of the night sky. This feature allows you to take multiple images of neighboring areas of the sky and then stitch them together to create a larger image. CovalENS uses advanced algorithms to align the images and remove distortions. This feature makes it possible to capture breathtaking views of the cosmos that would otherwise not be possible.

Auto-initialization
Vespera III uses your phone's GPS, star pattern recognition (plate solving) and astrometry to calibrate itself. Set up your device and get it ready automatically in less than 5 minutes.

Automatic alignment
The observing station features Go-To technology. Select a target in the app or enter any celestial coordinates and the station will automatically move and align to it.

Auto-tracking
Powered by a motor and controlled by a built-in computer, Vespera III automatically tracks your stellar object and compensates for the Earth's rotation.

High-sensitivity Sony sensor
Vaonis has developed its own electronic board to ensure optimal heat management. A hot sensor means a lot of image defects, so the sensor board is designed to dissipate maximum heat.

LumENS is now available for free to all Vespera users and allows users to interact with their telescope like never before. This AI answers astronomical questions, explains celestial objects that are currently being observed and provides up-to-date astronomical knowledge in real time. The AI can be addressed by voice or keyboard. Voice input currently works in English and French, while chatting via keyboard works in all preset languages. This update is a big step towards making astronomy accessible to everyone and providing informative entertainment even for users with no prior knowledge!
