GPS automatically records telemetry data that adds geolocation and other metadata to your footage. In the GoPro Quik app, you can then add overlays as animated graphics to your video. This lets you visually display speed, distance, terrain, altitude, and G-forces in your footage.
When the GoPro is plugged in to charge and connected to your home Wi-Fi, your footage is automatically uploaded to the cloud during the charging process and then turned into a highlight video with matching music and cool effects. The videos are automatically sent to your smartphone so you can share them quickly and easily.
