Canon EOS R10
The perfect next step in photography. Whether you’re upgrading from your first DSLR, your smartphone, or a point-and-shoot camera—the EOS R10 simply offers you so much more.
With its fast continuous shooting at 15 fps with a mechanical shutter and up to 23 fps with an electronic shutter, it reliably captures fleeting moments. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with deep learning utilizes advanced subject recognition for people, animals, and vehicles, covering 100% of the sensor area for focusing and tracking subjects. Exceptional 4K footage can be recorded beyond the standard maximum recording time of 30 minutes using 4K 30p via oversampling of the 6K sensor data, and 4K 60p with crop is available for smooth slow-motion effects.
Greater Sharpness
The EOS R10 is equipped with the renowned Dual Pixel CMOS AF II focusing system, which has been programmed with deep-learning AI technology for advanced subject recognition. It’s fast, precise, and incredibly sensitive in low light—even in situations lit only by moonlight.
Experience a whole new kind of autofocus
The EOS R10 can recognize people, vehicles, and animals—such as cats, dogs, and birds—and track them as they move within the frame. Even when they’re moving very quickly, the result is razor-sharp.
When photographing people, the EOS R10 focuses on the subject’s eyes—the “windows to the soul.” If the eyes aren’t visible, it tracks the face instead. If your subject turns away for a moment, the camera focuses on the head, and if the head isn’t recognizable, it shifts focus to the body.
More Speed
React intuitively and capture fleeting moments with fast continuous shooting—ideal for wildlife and sports photography. The EOS R10 can shoot RAW, JPEG, or HEIF images at up to 15 frames per second (or 23 fps with the electronic shutter). As it does so, the camera tracks the subject across the entire frame and continuously adjusts focus and exposure to the changing scene.
Capture Fractions of a Second
In RAW Burst mode, photos can be taken at up to 30 fps with a 75% crop. These images are then saved in a video file for clear and easy organization. Later, individual images can be extracted from this file using our free DPP software. When PreRec is enabled in the camera menu, the EOS R10 begins recording 0.5 seconds before you press the shutter button—ensuring you always capture the perfect moment.
Fast Response
The camera also responds quickly to your inputs, giving you a major advantage when you want to capture that one decisive moment. The DIGIC X processor ensures fast response times and minimizes viewfinder lag and blackout, so you’re always connected to your subject.
More Flexibility
Whether you’re shooting photos, videos, or a mix of both, the EOS R10 always delivers outstanding image quality. Weighing just about 429 g, it’s incredibly portable, so you can take it with you anytime, anywhere.
The Perfect Balance
A 24.2-megapixel sensor provides the ideal balance between detail, speed, and low-light performance. The maximum sensitivity of ISO 32,000 (expandable to ISO 51,200) ensures more detail and less noise when shooting in the dark. There’s also a built-in flash to provide additional light when needed.
4K That Exceeds Your Expectations
The EOS R10 captures exceptional 4K video that looks outstanding on UHD displays and allows for cropping without any loss of quality when editing Full HD projects. Filmmakers can choose between 4K/60p—for smooth playback of moving subjects or slow-motion effects—and 4K/30p, which is generated by oversampling the 6K data from the camera’s 24.2-megapixel sensor. You have to see the results to believe them.
Extremely smooth motion
When shooting in Full HD mode, frame rates of up to 120 fps can be used, revealing even more subtle details in the movement of your subjects. And for slow-moving scenes, the camera’s built-in capability to create impressive 4K and Full HD time-lapse videos gives you even more creative possibilities.
Greater Comfort and Ease of Use
From the moment you pick up the EOS R10, you’ll feel connected to it, as if it were an extension of your creative spirit. The buttons and dials are intuitively positioned under your fingers and thumbs, and the camera’s electronic viewfinder (EVF) provides a clear and precise view of your subject.
The APS-C Advantage
The camera is equipped with an APS-C sensor. When paired with your lens, this sensor provides 1.6 times more telephoto reach than the same focal length on a full-frame camera. This lets you bring your subjects much closer for impressive shots of wildlife and action.
More Connectivity Options
The EOS R10 can connect wirelessly to your smartphone, allowing you to quickly share your creativity with friends and followers. You can use it to post on social media, send video clips to friends, and upload images to cloud accounts so they’re ready when you get home.
Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD Canon RF
The 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD (Model B070) is a fast standard zoom lens for APS-C mirrorless cameras. It was designed to offer both a wide Zoomrange and outstanding image quality. With a focal length range of 17 to 70 mm¹, it achieves a 4.1x Zoomzoom factor—best-in-class among APS-C standard zooms—while maintaining a constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 across the entire Zoomrange.
The 17-70mm f/2.8 VC features the VC (Vibration Compensation) image stabilizer as well as a fast and quiet AF system². Since focus breathing and AF noise are effectively suppressed, the 17-70mm f/2.8 VC is equally suitable for both still photography and video recording. Despite its class-leading Zoomzoom range and built-in VC, the lens remains remarkably light and compact.
This makes the 17-70mm F2.8 VC an excellent choice for everyday use as well as for travel, where light weight is particularly important. The lens also impresses at close range: it achieves a minimum focusing distance of just 0.19 m in the wide-angle range. This allows you to capture expressive and unique images in many everyday situations—such as street photography or portraits.
Additional features, such as a moisture-resistant construction and a fluorine coating, enhance its functionality and versatility. Whether in everyday life or on distant travels, the 17-70mm F2.8 VC captures special moments and discoveries with the finest detail.
- Equivalent to a 25.5–105 mm focal length on a full-frame camera for the Nikon Z-mount and 27.2–112 mm for the CANON RF mount.
- With the 17-70mm F2.8 VC for CANON RF and Nikon Z mounts, autofocus tracking may be less responsive during video recording.
