Settings can be adjusted using the rotating and tilting touchscreen, and you simply press the record button on the front of the camera to start filming. The autofocus with scene recognition reliably ensures sharp shots, and with the special tripod mount you can easily switch to portrait format. And when the camera is used with an RF-S 14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ, the
advanced Canon stabilization technology ensures smooth, clean shots even when filming on the move.

With the EOS R50 V, content always looks good. An advanced 24 megapixel sensor with Dual Pixel CMOS AF delivers razor-sharp 4K video from oversampling the 6K sensor data. Up to 120 fps with sound recording is available for smooth slow-motion sequences in Full HD, while 4:2:2 10-bit recording ensures richer colors and more flexibility in post-processing - allowing you to fine-tune details and achieve impressive results.

Easily transfer your shots via Wi-Fi with Bluetooth or USB to a smartphone or computer for editing and sharing as needed, streamlining your workflow. One press of the LIVE button takes you straight to the streaming options so you can go live in seconds. Charging required? The EOS R50 V can automatically stream content while charging - it doesn't even need to be switched on.

Customized content, customized style

The dedicated manual exposure and focus controls help you capture stunning and engaging videos that stand out from the crowd. You can fine-tune the sound during recording, extract high-resolution frames for YouTube thumbnails, and use side markers to precisely adjust content to the aspect ratio of different platforms. Even more control options are available with the optional Canon RF-S 14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ lens on the camera, which can also be zoomed remotely.

SIGMA's ultra wide-angle Zoom specifically for mirrorless cameras with APS-C sensor, the 10-18mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary, is now also available for the Canon RF mount. Thanks to this addition to the SIGMA product range, users of the Canon RF Mount system now have another high-performance SIGMA lens with a native mount at their disposal.

A control algorithm that optimizes the AF drive and communication speed has been specially developed for the Canon RF Mount. In addition to high-speed AF, the lens also supports continuous autofocus (Servo AF) and in-camera aberration correction*. The bayonet of the lens is fitted with a rubber lip to prevent the ingress of dust and moisture

The SIGMA 10-18mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary is the world's smallest and lightest ultra-wide-angle Zoom lens for APS-C cameras *1 with a length of 62 mm, a diameter of 72.2 mm and a weight of 260 g *2. It can be carried effortlessly in combination with an APS-C mirrorless camera or easily attached to a gimbal to create an ultra-portable still or video setup
