The control algorithm, which optimizes the AF drive and communication speed, has been specially developed for the Canon RF Mount. In addition to high-speed AF based on a stepper motor, this lens also supports continuous autofocus (Servo AF). This exceptionally fast and quiet operation of the autofocus is equally advantageous for still and video recordings

. The lens offers outstanding resolution even at fully open aperture and delivers absolutely sharp and clear images. The lens is also compatible with the camera's internal aberration correction*. Targeted measures against flares and ghosting enable professional shots even in backlit situations. The specially designed lens hood contributes to this and is included in the scope of delivery.
