When the EOS R6 Mark II's Detection Only option is enabled, the camera will not focus back on the background if the subject moves out of frame. Inspired by our Cinema EOS C70 camera, this feature mimics the work of a professional focus puller for cinematic results.

6K ProRes RAW

For the ultimate in flexibility and image quality, you can record 6K ProRes RAW video to an external ATOMOS V+ recorder. The footage is easier to edit and offers greater dynamic range. The extra resolution allows you to crop while maintaining 4K quality.

Don't be afraid of the dark

The EOS R6 Mark II's 24.2-megapixel sensor offers an ideal balance of speed, image quality and low-light capabilities. The ability to focus in darkness down to -6.5 EV1 (that's darker than the light of the crescent moon) is complemented by a maximum ISO sensitivity of 102,400 and an image stabilizer that's effective up to 8 stops of exposure (2).

With standard LP-E6NH batteries, you can shoot about 50% longer. The EOS R6 Mark II is also compatible with LP-E6 series batteries you may have and the BG-R10 battery grip.
