RF 24mm f1.4 L VCM

The RF 24mm F1.4 L VCM is a high-quality wide-angle lens from the L series and is part of the new hybrid lens series from Canon, which has been optimized for both photography and video recording.

Seamless hybrid use for creative photography and video

The 24mm focal length offers a wonderfully wide full-frame perspective where creativity takes center stage. In addition to minimized focus breathing, filmmakers will appreciate the separate aperture ring *1 that allows smooth manual control. The 11-blade iris diaphragm ensures beautiful circular highlights and the typical cinematic look.

Brilliant creative possibilities in low light

Thanks to the high speed of 1:1.4, you can continue shooting in low light and creatively control the depth of field. A film filter holder at the back and a 67mm filter thread at the front ensure optimum creative freedom, while the fixed focal length captures the subject in razor-sharp focus.

One aspherical and two UD lenses with Super Spectra and ASC coating ensure outstanding image quality. A fast Nano USM in combination with the even faster VCM technology (Voice Coil Motor *2) ensure fast and precise focusing - for both photo and video recordings

Thanks to the design of the L series *3 with high-quality lenses, the lens can also be used in difficult conditions. The fluorine coating prevents dirt from sticking to the front lens, while a special lens control ring and a configurable lens function button allow for completely individual control.

This simply makes you more agile when shooting. The RF 24mm F1.4 L VCM is around 20 percent lighter than its EF predecessor and, as part of the hybrid fixed focal length series, is ideal for quickly changing lenses in a video rig.
