Fujifilm X-T30 III Body Black
Powerful image processor and precise autofocus
The X-T30 III is equipped with the back-illuminated 26.1 megapixel sensor "X-Trans CMOS 4" and the high-speed processor "X-Processor 5". The resulting energy efficiency enables a battery life of up to 425 shots per charge in energy-saving mode.
The autofocus system of the X-T30 III offers object-oriented scene recognition based on artificial intelligence. The algorithm developed using deep learning technology not only recognizes and tracks people's faces and eyes, but also reliably keeps animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, planes, trains, insects and drones in focus.
The X-T30 III enables video recording in 6.2K/30p with 4:2:2 10-bit as well as high-speed recording in 4K/60p and 1080/240p. The digital image stabilization compensates for slight camera shake and strong camera movements, for example when filming while walking.
Compact and lightweight design
The X-T30 III impresses with its lightweight and compact housing with a centrally positioned, classic viewfinder and has the same dimensions (W 118.4 mm × H 82.8 mm × D 46.8 mm) and the same weight (378 g) as its predecessor, the X-T30 II.
Twenty different Fujifilm film simulations are available directly in the camera, including REALA ACE and NOSTALGIC Neg. This color technology, based on traditional photographic films, gives everyone - including newcomers to photography - quick access to high-quality, atmospheric images. A special film simulation wheel on the top of the camera enables quick and intuitive selection of the desired simulation to suit the subject or scene.
The film simulation dial also offers three freely assignable positions (FS1 to FS3), on which preferred film simulations and image quality settings can be saved as individual "FS recipes".
High ease of use
The AUTO mode switch on the top of the camera allows the Fujifilm X-T30 III to be switched directly to AUTO mode. In this mode, the camera automatically recognizes the scene and adopts the appropriate parameters - so you can take atmospheric, high-quality shots without any complicated settings.
A flash is integrated in the central viewfinder, which automatically adjusts its output and is ideal for portrait shots in low light or backlit conditions. As it is located directly above the lens axis, it enables precise alignment with the subject and thus provides a classic shooting experience.
The rear LCD monitor has 1.62 million pixels and a tilt function that facilitates shooting from high and low angles - particularly practical for travel and landscape photography. The camera's ergonomically designed grip ensures that the compact, lightweight body is stable and secure in the hand.
Compatible with instax Link™ printers
The Fujifilm X-T30 III can be wirelessly connected to FUJIFILM's instax Link™ series of smartphone printers. This enables direct printing without an additional app. A new addition is support for the instax™ mini, instax™ SQUARE and instax™ WIDE formats, which enables a seamless process from shooting to printing.
Sigma 17-40mm f1.8 DC X-Mount
The Sigma 17-40mm F1.8 DC Art builds on the groundbreaking innovations of the Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM Art, which was the world's first F1.8Zoom lens to receive widespread acclaim in the photo and video industry. Thirteen years after its debut, this next generation lens not only offers superior optical performance, but also a longer focal length of 17-40mm with a weight reduction of over 30%. This significantly increases the versatility of a standard wide aperture lens. In addition to the fast and quiet autofocus provided by the HLA (High-response Linear Actuator), the lens features an internal Zoom mechanism and minimal focus breathing, ensuring outstanding performance for both photo and video production. Sigma, the pioneer that wowed the world with the first F1.8 Zoom lens, has once again revolutionized the history of large aperture Zoom lenses with groundbreaking advancements.
Constant maximum aperture of F1.8
The Sigma 17-40mm F1.8 DC Art offers the convenience of a Zoom lens with a constant aperture of F1.8 over the entire Zoom range. Thanks to the large aperture, which is usually only offered by fixed focal lengths, the lens is suitable for low-light environments, such as indoor and night shots, as well as for expressive shots with great bokeh.
The optical construction, realized through the latest design and processing technologies, including the use of high-precision aspherical lenses, achieves outstanding optical performance.
The Sigma 17-40mm F1.8 DC Art achieves high resolution even at open aperture thanks to the successful correction of longitudinal chromatic aberration and sagittal coma. Fine textures and details are reproduced with impressive clarity
Flexible subject composition
The focal length range of the Sigma 17-40mm F1.8 DC Art has been extended compared to its predecessor Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM Art. Equivalent to the 35mm KB format, it offers 25.5-60mm. From landscape shots to tabletop or reportage to portraits, photographers can take full advantage of the expressive power of the large F1.8 aperture. From wide-angle to standard range, shots can be freely composed without having to change lenses.
Designed to minimize flare and ghosting
By using advanced simulation technology and Sigma Super Multi-Layer Coating, flare and ghosting have been largely eliminated so that the lens delivers rich, high-contrast results in all conditions.
Convenient internal zoom for a perfect balance
Thanks to the internal zoom mechanism, the overall length of the lens remains constant when changing the focal length or focus. This means that the Sigma 17-40mm F1.8 DC Art is easy to handle when shooting handheld, from a tripod or gimbal and remains perfectly balanced. In addition, this design is less susceptible to dust and splash water.
Improved mobility through a compact and lightweight design
The Sigma 17-40mm F1.8 DC Art is over 30% lighter and has a filter diameter of 67mm, which is one size smaller than its predecessor, the Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM Art. Although it is a Zoom lens with a large aperture, it is surprisingly handy. The expressive power of F1.8 can be used with a compact APS-C system and makes it ideal for travel and everyday photography as well as video productions where mobility is crucial.
Dust protection, splash protection* and water and oil-repellent coating
In addition to the dust and splash-protected construction, the front element of the Sigma 17-40mm F1.8 DC Art has a water and oil-repellent coating.
This
means that the lens can also be used in harsh conditions
*The lens is dust and splash-proof, but not waterproof. Make sure that the lens does not come into complete contact with water. Water inside a lens can cause major damage and even make it irreparable.
Equipped with two AFL buttons
The Sigma 17-40mm F1.8 DC Art offers two AFL buttons *1 *2 which have been positioned for optimum accessibility for shooting in portrait and landscape mode. These buttons can be assigned individual functions via the camera menu of compatible cameras
*1 Only in combination with compatible cameras. Available functions may vary depending on the camera used.
*2 The Fujifilm X mount version has an AF function button that can be used to select AF lock/AF operation via lens switch
HLA-controlled high-speed AF
The HLA (High-Response Linear Actuator) drive enables quiet, fast and high-precision autofocus. The smooth, stable autofocus is not only suitable for still photography, but is also perfect for shooting with a gimbal or for vlogging
. Minimal focus breathing
Focus breathing has been suppressed extremely effectively on the Sigma 17-40mm F1.8 DC Art. This means that there are virtually no changes to the image angle when moving the focus point, which ensures very natural-looking focus tracking for video recordings
. Functional aperture ring
Many demanding users appreciate being able to set the aperture directly via an aperture ring on the lens. The Sigma 17-40mm F1.8 DC Art offers such an aperture ring. Thanks to its "de-click function", this feature is also interesting for filmmakers, as the aperture can be adjusted smoothly and silently in this position. Those who prefer to set the aperture on the camera body can use the aperture ring's lock function and are protected against accidental adjustment.
