Nikon Z DX 16-50mm f3.5-6.3 VR
Thanks to the large diameter Nikon Z bayonet, this DX lens for mirrorless cameras delivers more detail, depth and color brilliance across the entire range from wide-angle shots to portraits. Show off breathtaking skylines. Take candid group shots and capture moments in street scenes without distortion.
This NIKKOR-Z lens is equally suitable for stills and movies. The lens's image stabilizer allows you to take pictures with exposure times that are up to 4.5 stops slower than would otherwise be possible. This ensures clear photos and movies even in fading daylight - without blurring. The focus is fast and virtually silent.
Immerse yourself in the scene
The wide-angle performance of this Zoom lens makes it the perfect choice for shooting in tight situations. The close focusing distance of just 0.2 m ensures sharp details even at short distances.
Unposed moments
From expressive gestures to the finest facial expressions - you won't miss a single detail, even in low light. The soft bokeh gives you a wonderfully blurred background.
Impressive films
This lens easily covers the entire range from long shots to close-ups. You'll get sharp and blur-free 4K shots even when handheld and in motion.
Everything under control
The silent focusing ring can be used for important functions such as manual focusing, aperture control (ideal for f-stop during video recordings) or exposure compensation.
Always ready
Never miss an opportunity. The retraction mechanism without locking button is quick and easy to operate. Simply turn the Zoomring to extend and retract the lens.
Compact lens
This DX Zoom lens for mirrorless cameras weighs only 135 g and is ultra-flat when retracted. The lens locks securely into place when retracted.
Tamron 70-300mm f4.5-6.3 Di III RXD Nikon Z
The 70-300mm F4.5-6.3 is Tamron's first telephoto Zoom lens with 300mm focal length for full-frame mirrorless cameras with Nikon Z-mount. It combines a compact design and low weight with exceptionally high image quality. The aim of the engineers was to make telephoto photography an effortless pleasure for photographers, regardless of their level of experience. The lens has a moisture-resistant construction for extra protection when shooting outdoors and the BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) coating developed by Tamron prevents quality-reducing reflections inside the lens barrel. In addition, the Nikon Z-mount system compatible 70-300mm F4.5-6.3 can be used with the special Tamron Lens UtilityTM software. The telephoto zoom makes it easier than ever to zoom in on distant subjects. The long focal length is not only suitable for sports, wildlife and nature photography, it also provides a flattering perspective for portrait and street photography.
High image quality and low weight - the ideal telephoto zoom for on the go
The aim when developing the 70-300mm F4.5-6.3 was to create a lens that makes telephoto photography easier and more comfortable. The top priority for the engineers was therefore a low weight and compact dimensions. To achieve this, the optical design was optimized on the computer and the latest technologies were used in the construction. Without compromising on image quality, it was possible to develop a surprisingly light and compact, slim lens weighing 580 g with a maximum diameter of 77 mm. The optical system comprises 15 elements in ten groups, including a high-precision LD (low dispersion) element for correcting longitudinal chromatic aberrations and other optical errors that typically occur at telephoto focal lengths. Regardless of the focal length selected, the images are brilliant and sharp. Even at 300 mm, the resolution is very high right into the corners of the image. This lens is also ideal for users who want to reduce the weight of their luggage, e.g. when hiking in the countryside.
Outstanding optical performance
The optical design of the 70-300mm F4.5-6.3 is based on elaborate simulations using the latest design technologies and strikes a balance between compact size and high image quality. The optical construction comprises 15 elements in 10 groups, with a low dispersion (LD) lens element precisely positioned to effectively suppress axial chromatic aberrations and other aberrations that can occur with telephoto zoom lenses. At 300 mm, a commonly used telephoto focal length, the lens design delivers excellent resolution right into the corners of the image. Thanks to the BBAR coating of Tamron, which is world-renowned for its anti-reflection performance, the new Zoom lens produces extremely sharp and clear images across the entire Zoom range.
Quiet autofocus with RXD technology
The autofocus is based on an exceptionally quiet RXD stepping motor (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive). The autofocus system has a sensor that determines the current focus setting of the lens. This ensures fast and precise automatic focusing. The focus is continuously tracked even with fast-moving subjects. The autofocus works very quietly so that no disturbing focusing noises are recorded during video recordings.
Dedicated TAMRON Lens Utility software
The Nikon Z version of the 70-300mm F4.5-6.3, users can also use the Lens Utility software specially developed by Tamron. The software allows users to easily update the lens to the latest firmware themselves without having to go through the camera, making it quick and easy to update when newer firmware is available.
Weather-sealed construction
The bayonet ring and other critical areas of the lens body are sealed against moisture and splashing water. This additional protection enables photography even in adverse weather conditions.
