Unadulterated travel portraits, landscapes, food photography and more: the natural perspective is simply beautiful.
Natural storytelling
The normal field of view of this lens corresponds approximately to our own, so the choice of image section is wonderfully intuitive. Realistic proportions, balanced backgrounds: Move freely and get as close as you like - every composition just feels right.
Close up, super sharp
With a close focusing distance of 16 cm, super sharp shots are achieved with a lens-to-subject distance of just 7.2 cm!
The high speed of f1.7 opens up new creative possibilities
The art of bokeh

your close-ups will stand out!
With an open aperture of f1.7, clear images are created even at low ISO values. With faster shutter speeds, you can freeze movement and achieve more stable freehand shots.

Small, handy and pleasantly light - you'll simply want to leave the fixed focal length NIKKOR Z DX MC 35mm f1.7 on your camera when you're out and about. Such a lightweight setup can also be helpful when composing the perfect macro shot: Hold the camera with one hand while you (re)position your subject with the other.
