Nikon Zf silver housing
The Nikon Z f is equipped with the advanced EXPEED 7 image processing engine, just like the highly acclaimed Nikon Z 9. This enables first-class photo and film recordings. It combines style and substance and impresses with leading technology, including outstanding autofocus and image stabilization functions. The result is a camera that is ideal for anyone who wants to realize their creative vision in outstanding quality.
The design of the Nikon Z f pays homage to the legendary FM2 and incorporates elements such as the characteristic dials, the shutter release and the classic Nikon logo from the 1970s. All dials are carefully crafted from high-quality brass and integrated into a robust magnesium alloy body, giving the camera an incomparable premium look and feel.
Expanded image expression possibilities thanks to new functions
In addition to the traditional monochrome Picture Control setting, the Z f now offers two innovative picture controls: "Neutral; Monochrome" and "Deep Tone; Monochrome". A dedicated black and white option has been added to the photo/video selector under the acronym "B&W" to allow seamless switching between shooting modes.
The camera also boasts an impressive range of inspiring functions and features, including Creative Picture Control and the ability to shoot with pixel shift - an innovation that the Z f is the first Nikon system camera to support. It is also the world's first camera* to feature Focus Area VR, which effectively suppresses blurring around the focus area to guarantee first-class results.
Optimized video performance for diverse requirements
The brand new camera has an extensive range of video functions. These include direct in-camera recording of 10-bit H.265 video and the impressive ability to record up to 125 minutes of continuous 4K UHD video, without interruption. There are also some outstanding features carried over from the Z 9, such as the ability to precisely adjust ISO sensitivity in 1/6 EV increments and the useful display of a red frame during video shoots.
Outstanding performance thanks to cutting-edge technology
The Z f camera is powered by the advanced EXPEED 7 image processing engine, which, among other things, enables remarkable ISO sensitivity. In addition, the Z f has also been given the capabilities of the Z 8 camera to reliably recognize nine different subject types and enhance subject recognition and tracking performance. The camera is also supported by a highly effective internal image stabilizer and digital VR, both of which significantly enhance the quality of shots in dimly lit or dark indoor environments.
