S-Cinetone™ ensures natural midtones, soft colors and gorgeous highlights that are essential for cinematic expression. Shoot with the S-Log3 gamma curve to achieve smooth color gradation in cinema and minimize color gradation in post-production with the imported custom mapping LUTs. Dual Base ISO (800 / 2500) allows you to capture the best quality images in different lighting conditions.

Advanced AF performance

The ILME-FX30 offers highly reliable and accurate autofocus performance with wide-area tracking across the entire frame. Real-time eye AF, which follows the face and eyes (of people and animals), keeps the subject in focus. Focus is maintained precisely and consistently over a wide area, even at shallow depth of field or when tracking fast-moving subjects with real-time tracking. Stable AF and flexible focusing are available for a variety of shooting situations. AF Assist, Focus Map and Breathing Compensation are great auxiliary functions.
