It achieves high sensitivity, low noise and wide dynamic range, and delivers 4K Super 35 resolution for stunning image quality. S-Cinetone™ provides natural midtones, smooth colors, and gorgeous highlights that are essential for cinematic expression. Shoot with the S-Log3 gamma curve to achieve smooth color gradation in cinema, and minimize color gradation in post-production with imported custom mapping LUTs. Dual Base ISO (800 / 2500) allows you to capture the best quality images in different lighting conditions.

Advanced AF Performance

The ILME-FX30 provides highly reliable and accurate autofocus performance with wide-area tracking across the entire frame. With real-time eye AF that follows the face and eyes (for people and animals), the subject stays in focus. Focus is maintained precisely and consistently over a wide range, even at shallow depth of field or when tracking fast-moving subjects with real-time tracking. Stable AF and flexible focusing are available for a variety of shooting situations. AF Assist, Focus Map, and Breathing Compensation are great assist features.

The housing has five threaded holes for accessories, eliminating the need for a cage for optimal flexibility, stability and comfort. Auto and manual modes for aperture, shutter speed, and ISO can be set independently for flexible exposure modes. Vertical side markers to check image framing in horizontal orientation.

With an optional XLR microphone and XLR handle, digital audio can be transmitted directly to the camera for superior audio quality with a very clean audio signal. Other connections include USB Type-C®, multi/micro USB, microphone, headphones, and a Multi Interface Shoe with built-in digital audio interface. With the 35-100mm F2.8 Di III VXD, Tamron is expanding its portfolio with a particularly compact and lightweight premium Zoom lens with a continuous F2.8 aperture. Developed as a deliberate alternative to the multi-award-winning 35-150mm F2-2.8 Di III VXD (model A058), the new model is aimed at users who appreciate high image quality, a pleasant bokeh and a significantly reduced size and weight.

With an overall length of just 119.2 mm and a weight of just 565 g, the lens fits comfortably in any photo bag and is ideal for portrait, travel and reportage photography. The proven VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor technology ensures fast, precise and quiet autofocus - ideal for reliably capturing natural facial expressions and fleeting moments.
Its excellent tracking performance is even suitable for the unpredictable movements of children and pets. In addition, its quiet operation is ideal for photos and videos in noise-sensitive environments.

Thanks to a close focusing distance of just 0.22 m in the wide-angle range, the lens also opens up creative possibilities for detailed close-ups, such as tabletop or indoor subjects.
