Ready for every moment
Be ready for anything. The extremely fast flash charging time of only approx. 0.1-0.9 sec [1] enables up to 170 flash releases at full power [2]. High-speed bracketing shots are also possible at a lower power level.

Power when it counts
The powerful LP-EL battery ensures the extremely fast triggering speed of the Speedlite EL-1 (version 2) - from flash firing to flash firing. You can expect up to 2,380 flash shots on a single charge.
The precise battery level indicator [4] lets you know exactly when you need to recharge or replace the battery.

Reliably good shots
When the pressure is on, you can rely on the Speedlite EL-1 (version 2) to deliver. In addition to a guide number of 58 [3], the flash unit offers the same dust and splash water protection as our L series lenses.
An active cooling system prevents overheating, so you can realize much longer flash series.

Flexibility and control
The Speedlite EL-1 (version 2) can be triggered both wirelessly and optically. This allows you to illuminate your subject as required. Use several Speedlites together (individually or in groups) for extremely creative lighting.

Get even more creative with light
With the integrated two-color LED auxiliary light, you can see where and how the Speedlite EL-1 (version 2) hits your subject. There is also a preview of where the shadows fall. The manual flash output can be varied between full and 1/8,192 power [5].
