7Artisans AF 40mm f/2.5 LITE L-Mount
Featherlight all-around lens with a retro design and autofocus
It impresses equally with its compact, lightweight design and outstanding image quality. This lens combines high optical quality, lightning-fast focusing, and compact dimensions. The quiet STM motor also makes it perfect for video recording. A focal length of 40mm falls between a classic wide-angle and a standard lens, offering a natural angle of view with a slightly expanded perspective. The f/2.5 maximum aperture delivers impressive results even in low light. In addition, the lens delivers a soft bokeh with a slight bubble effect, offering many creative possibilities. Thanks to its compact size and extremely light weight of just 90g, this lens is ideal for on-the-go use and fans of minimalist gear. The precise autofocus operates very quietly and supports eye and face detection. The minimum focusing distance of just 40 cm allows for interesting close-up perspectives, such as when capturing details or still lifes. A convenient 46-mm filter thread allows for the use of screw-in filters.
A USB-C port on the mount is available for firmware updates. A USB-C cable with data transfer capability is included for this purpose. Windows 10 or later is recommended for updates.
