With a viewing angle of 220°, this lens produces a dramatically curved perspective, with curved lines and maximum depth effect of the subject. This allows the creative photographer new perspectives and opens up surprising results. The high speed of f/2 enables use even in low light conditions, for example in astrophotography. In combination with the short focusing distance of 0.1 m, the lens is also suitable for very close shots with a pronounced perspective.
The optical design comprises 10 lens elements in 8 groups. The aperture and focus are set manually and
the lens profile can be used during post-processing in Photoshop to correct the typical fisheye distortion.
