Arcana is designed to provide the visual character that many users expect from anamorphic optics, while ensuring ease of use and user-friendliness. DZOFILM particularly highlights the series for its "2X" like waterfall bokeh, the natural streaking effects created by the cylindrical front lens design, and the resolution performance of over 12K. The lenses also feature up to three ED glass elements to reduce chromatic aberrations and ensure clear color and edge rendition

. A key practical strength of the Arcana series is its consistent design across the range. All lenses have a front diameter of 80 mm, a focus range of 270°, a 14-blade diaphragm and an M77 filter thread. This enables the team to change lenses more quickly and ensures optimized equipment on set. This makes the series particularly suitable for freelancers, small studios, film students, independent productions and rental companies looking for an anamorphic style without the size and complexity of larger, traditional anamorphic systems. With a close focus distance of just 0.48m, a PL mount and compatibility with gimbal-based workflows, including Ronin 4D and RS3/RS4 class configurations, the Arcana positions itself as a flexible entry into full-frame anamorphic shooting. It is fully manual and has no electronic communication, autofocus or Cooke /i support.
