300° rotating focus ring

The 18mm Athena Prime features a 77mm filter thread, an 80mm clamp size and standardized aperture and focus rings that facilitate the use of additional lens accessories. The 300° rotatable focus ring with fluorescent focus scales provides precise control for sharp, dynamic shots even in difficult lighting conditions.

Drop-in filter holder

The Athena Prime lens series is equipped with a drop-in filter holder (only L-, RF-, E- and PL-mount is equipped with a rear filter holder), which allows for a more flexible workflow and more creative control in film production. Filmmakers can easily add ND filters, polarizing filters or other filters to achieve the desired look without having to attach filters to the front of the lens. This feature also allows for quick and efficient filter changes, saving time and reducing the risk of lens damage.
