Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD Canon RF Customer Return

The 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD (Model B070) is a fast standard zoom lens for APS-C mirrorless cameras. It was designed to offer both a wide Zoomrange and outstanding image quality. With a focal length range of 17 to 70 mm¹, it achieves a 4.1x Zoomzoom ratio—best-in-class among APS-C standard zooms—while maintaining a constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 across the entire Zoomrange.

The 17-70mm f/2.8 VC features the VC (Vibration Compensation) image stabilizer as well as a fast and quiet AF system². Since focus breathing and AF noise are effectively suppressed, the 17-70mm f/2.8 VC is equally well-suited for both still photography and video recording. Despite its class-leading Zoomfactor and built-in VC, the lens remains remarkably light and compact.

This makes the 17-70mm F2.8 VC an excellent choice for everyday use as well as for travel, where light weight is particularly important. The lens also impresses at close range: It achieves a minimum focusing distance of just 0.19 m in the wide-angle range. This allows you to capture expressive and unique images in many everyday situations—such as street photography or portraits.

Additional features, such as a moisture-resistant design and a fluorine coating, enhance its functionality and versatility. Whether in everyday life or on distant travels, the 17-70mm F2.8 VC captures special moments and discoveries with the finest level of detail.
