The Tamron 25-200mm F2.8-5.6 Di III VXD G2 (model A075) is the successor to the award-winning 28-200mm F2.8-5.6 Di III RXD (model A071) and appears as the further developed second generation of the G2 series.

As a pioneer of modern all-in-one Zoom lenses, Tamron is also celebrating its 75th anniversary with this new product. The new G2 model retains its compact design, but extends the wide-angle range from 28 mm to 25 mm, while retaining the 200 mm at the telephoto end. It offers improved imaging performance as well as faster and more precise autofocus thanks to the VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor focusing system. With a maximum magnification of 1:1.9 in the wide-angle range, it enables impressive close-ups in the semi-macro range.
