The lens construction consists of 13 elements in 10 groups, including 2 aspherical lenses. These ensure high image sharpness, low color fringing and very good control of distortion. In addition to the integrated tulip-shaped lens hood, an additional external lens hood can be attached. This is equipped with a 77mm filter thread, allowing standard screw-in filters to be used without any problems.

The 8 blades of the aperture create striking and uniform aperture stars when the aperture is closed - particularly visible with point light sources such as street lamps, fairy lights or sunbeams. This allows atmospheric, creative image accents to be set. The compact design makes it ideal for traveling, hiking or street photography. Both aperture selection and focusing are fully manual, allowing precise work and conscious creative control.
