With a fixed focal length of 40 millimetres, it is positioned between a classic wide-angle and normal lens and therefore offers a natural angle of view with a slightly wider perspective. The high speed of f/2 enables convincing results even in low light and allows targeted control of the depth of field for creative cropping effects.

Thanks to its compact dimensions and low weight, this lens is ideal for mobile applications and fans of minimalist equipment. The integrated autofocus works quietly and precisely and supports face detection.

Thanks to the combination of ED and aspherical elements, this small lens effectively controls chromatic aberrations while ensuring clarity.

The close focusing distance of just 40 cm allows interesting perspectives at close range, such as details or still lifes. A 52 mm filter thread makes it possible to work with filters, while

a USB-C port in the rear lens cap is available for firmware updates. This requires a USB-C cable with data transfer function. Windows 10 or higher is recommended for updating.
