Hollyland Pyro Ultra 1TX & 1RX Wireless Video Transmission System
Your vision, ultra clear
Just right. Exactly 4K60. With support for true 4K60 at 12 Mbps over HDMI, Pyro Ultra uses the powerful TWiFi codec to display every moment with stunning clarity, nuance and depth.
Focus Mode
For precise focusing - with a latency of just 20 ms[2]. When activated, Focus Mode reduces latency on all enabled devices down to 20 ms, so every focus move is precise and responsive. Whether capturing a subtle glance, pulling focus on a moving subject or tracking a quiet moment, everything happens at exactly the right moment. At the same time, the rest of your system runs just as smoothly
[2] Focus Mode can be activated on all receivers within the same group. Minimal latency under standard test conditions: ≥20 ms at 1080p25/30, ≥40 ms at 1080p60 and ≥45 ms at 4K60. The latency values only apply when Focus Mode is activated.
TWiFi transmission technology
Previously like this. Now Ultra. Based on Hollywood's proprietary codec and transmission architecture, TWiFi combines the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies into a compact connection that outperforms traditional dual-band systems - with a stronger and more stable connection. This advanced system offers a line-of-sight range of up to 1.5 km (4,900 ft)[3] with exceptional image clarity, while automatic frequency hopping ensures stable transmission even in crowded environments. Complemented by the powerful codec, TWiFi ensures true 4K60 picture, while Focus Mode reduces latency down to 20 ms - keeping every picture sharp, every adjustment in sync and every workflow flowing effortlessly.
[
3] In broadcast mode, the maximum transmission range is 700 m (2,300 ft). In non-broadcast mode, the range can be up to 1.5 km (4,900 ft).
DFS Ready
Enjoy more freedom. Pyro Ultra supports frequency ranges with Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS), allowing more spectrum to be used for wireless transmission in regulated regions[4]. More flexibility. Fewer restrictions. No matter where your production takes you
[4], the actual frequency available may vary depending on local laws and regulations.
Flexible streaming solutions
Stream your way. Pyro Ultra offers UVC and RTMP streaming, enabling high quality recordings up to 4K60 with plug-and-play convenience and flexible platform connectivity - ideal for live productions and remote collaboration[5].
[5] The actual resolution possible depends on the receiver settings. UVC supports resolutions up to 4K60, while RTMP streaming is limited to 1080p60
. Pyro - always connected.
The Pyro ecosystem. Pyro Ultra is fully compatible with the Pyro family[6], including Pyro H, Pyro S, Pyro 7, Pyro 5 and even Vcore, creating a true ecosystem for cross-device integration. Whether you are expanding your system or combining different setups, each component fits seamlessly into the chain
[6]. Within the Pyro ecosystem, Pyro 5 and Pyro 7 are compatible in both broadcast and non-broadcast modes. Pyro H and Vcore only work in non-broadcast mode. Pyro S currently only supports non-broadcast mode; compatibility with broadcast mode will be added in future firmware updates.
Freeze Frame
Unexpected cut? No problem. Pyro Ultra freezes the last frame on screen, giving the team time to collect themselves without interrupting the workflow. For even more flexibility, you can set a custom image[7] as a fallback display to maintain visual consistency and brand presence.
[
7] The custom image must be 1920×1080 px (JPG), smaller than 1 MB and named "logo.jpg".
Versatile connectivity
HDMI & SDI with flexible frame rates. The Pyro Ultra transmitter supports 4K60 HDMI loop-out, allowing you to monitor footage locally without compromise. With support for fractional frame rates on HDMI and SDI, it adapts seamlessly to professional and broadcast standards, so your setup remains flexible for any production.
Adaptive output resolution
One signal. Multiple displays. The receivers automatically adapt the output resolution to the connected devices. Even with a 4K60 transmission, a receiver can output in 1080p, ensuring compatibility across different setups while maintaining the integrity of the source signal.
