Fast, agile and intuitive

The special aperture ring allows the aperture to be changed smoothly. In video mode, this is possible with 1/32 f-stops. An unlock switch for the "Auto" position provides better control and the 11-blade iris diaphragm ensures an attractive circular bokeh.

Sharp and high-contrast images

Two Super UD lenses, one UD lens, three aspherical lenses and ASC and Super Spectra coatings prevent aberrations, ghosting and flare. A fluorine coating also protects the front lens from dirt.
