The SELP28135G is an electric Zoom lens specially designed to meet the professional optical and operation requirements of high-quality filming such as 4K. The lens is intended for use with a 35 mm full-frame camera such as the α7S or a Super 35 format camcorder such as the PXW-FS7*. Focus breathing and the Zoom shift have been reduced to an absolute minimum. Aspherical elements and advanced multi-coating technology ensure effective suppression of aberrations. Another priority is low-noise operation. That is why the SSM drive system (Super Sonic wave Motor) ensures precise and quiet Zoom movements. This E-mount lens has independent control rings for Zoom, focus and aperture with mechanical steps. Integrated Optical SteadyShot image stabilization technology further enhances the performance of this exceptional lens, which supports a constant 1:4.
