DJI Mic 3 Transmitter
The DJI Mic 3 Transmitter combines state-of-the-art design with maximum flexibility. Ultra-compact, light as a feather and discreet in appearance, it can be attached in no time at all using a magnet or clip. The innovative, removable and rotatable clip opens up limitless possibilities: Whether worn sideways, upside down or classically - the DJI Mic 3 ensures crystal-clear sound and professional recording quality at all times.
Audio quality
The DJI Mic 3 is the perfect solution for anyone looking for the highest sound quality in a compact format. Whether for professional video recording, interviews, podcasts or live streams, this advanced mini wireless microphone system reliably delivers impressive sound with minimal size.
Small, light, versatile
The DJI Mic 3 transmitter is compact, lightweight and unobtrusive. It supports both magnetic and clip-on mounting methods. The detachable, rotatable clip allows you to flexibly adjust the angle of the microphone, whether it is mounted sideways or upside down, to ensure optimal audio capture in any scenario.
Adaptive gain control for balanced volume [3]
- Automatic: The automatic mode effectively prevents audio signals from being overdriven and is therefore ideal for outdoor areas with strong volume fluctuations, such as
sporting
- events.
- Dynamic: Dynamic mode automatically adjusts the gain in response to volume changes, ensuring a consistent volume level - ideal for quiet indoor environments such as studios.
Three voice tone presets to suit your style [4]
- Regular is the default setting, providing a clean, natural and balanced sound.
- Rich emphasizes the lows for a fuller, more powerful sound.
- Bright emphasizes the highs and gives your voice extra clarity and brilliance.
Two-stage noise reduction for focused sound [5]
- Basic: The Basic stage is ideal for quiet indoor environments and reduces fan, air conditioning and reverberation noise while keeping your voice clear.
- Strong: The Strong level is ideal for noisy environments as it significantly reduces ambient noise for clearer voices.
When the windscreen is attached, the transmitter effectively reduces wind noise and other unwanted sounds, delivering clear and crisp sound even in windy or noisy environments - ideal for live streaming, vlogging and more.
Dual-band reliability, rock-solid transmission
The DJI Mic 3 supports automatic frequency hopping between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands [6] with a transmission range of up to 400 meters [7]. Its robust anti-interference capabilities ensure stable audio transmission, even in complex wireless environments such as trade shows.
Lossless transmission, pristine audio
When Lossless Audio is enabled [8], the transmitter delivers uncompressed 48 kHz 24-bit audio directly to the receiver. This ensures that every recording is captured in stunning detail.
Dual-file 32-bit float internal recording
No more worries about lost audio - internal recording protects your material from wireless interference or device failure. With dual-file internal recording, the DJI Mic 3 stores both the original track and an algorithm-enhanced version [9], optimizing your workflow and making your creative process smooth.
32-bit internal float recording
With support for 32-bit internal float recording, the DJI Mic 3 offers a high dynamic range that not only delivers high-quality recordings, but is also more adaptable to complex sound environments. It excels at capturing every nuance of a voice, from soft whispers to booming decibel levels, offering more reliability in irregular sound scenarios and more flexibility in post-production.
Built-in timecode for precise synchronization
DJI Mic 3 offers high-precision timecode support [10], with the transmitter embedding timecode data during internal recording and the receiver supporting both timecode input and output. With less than one frame mismatch in 24 hours [11], you can instantly match footage from multiple cameras in post-production, making editing faster and more efficient.
28 hours of extended battery life [13]
One transmitter lasts up to 8 hours [14], one receiver up to 10 hours [14]. A fully charged cradle provides approximately 2.4 full charges for a total of 28 hours of extended operation [13]. Long video recordings and live streams can be easily managed without worrying about running out of power.
5-minute fast charging
Charge the transmitter and receiver in just 5 minutes and use them for up to 2 hours [15] - ideal for a quick power boost. With 3C fast charging support, a full charge only takes about 50 minutes [16], so you can get back to work in no time.
DJI Mic 3 Multicolor Windscreen [22]
Windscreen in different colors that can be easily matched to clothing, environment, etc.

- When storing the accessories in the charging case, avoid stacking them to prevent damage to the receiver screen.
- To achieve the 4TX + 8RX setup or four-channel output, additional accessories must be purchased separately. The four-channel output function is only supported by certain Sony camera models (which require the DJI Mic Series Camera Adapter) and certain computer software (via USB output).
- For details, please refer to the compatibility list on the Downloads page of the official DJI Mic 3 website.
- The Adaptive Gain Control function can be configured via the receiver or DJI Mimo app and is disabled by default.
- The voice tone preset modes can be selected via the receiver or the DJI Mimo app, with the default setting being "Normal".
- The Noise Cancellation feature is off by default, but can be enabled via the receiver, DJI Mimo app or a device connected directly via the OsmoAudio™ ecosystem and set to either Strong or Basic level. When using the receiver with multiple transmitters, you can adjust the noise canceling settings for each transmitter individually or for all transmitters simultaneously. If an Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4 or Osmo Pocket 3 is connected directly via OsmoAudio™, the settings can be adjusted via the product interface.
- If the transmitter is connected directly to a smartphone, the settings can be adjusted within the Mimo app.
- The permitted operating frequency varies depending on the country and region.
- Refer to local laws and regulations for more information.
- Measured with DJI Mic 3 (2 TX + 1 RX + charging case), with lossless audio turned off, in an open, interference-free environment.
- When lossless audio is enabled, the battery life of the transmitter under nominal operating conditions is reduced by approx.
- 2 hours and the maximum transmission range is reduced by approximately 50%.
- Algorithm based enhancements include voice tone presets, low cut, noise reduction and adaptive gain control.
- Details on supported timecode modes, frame rates and timecode output formats can be found on the FAQ page of the official DJI Mic 3 website.
