The DJI Mic Mini 2 Transmitter is particularly compact and lightweight, weighing just 11 g (without magnetic clip and magnet). This makes it ideal for inconspicuous and mobile audio recordings. The housing supports magnetic mounting and comes standard with both a magnetic clip and a magnet, allowing flexible mounting options - either classic clip or magnetic direct to clothing.The DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitter can be attached to collars, lapels, hat brims and more using the magnetic clip. The magnetic clip allows attachment in four directions (up, down, left or right) for optimal sound recording. The transmitter can also be attached to other parts of your clothing using the magnet, for example in the middle of soft clothing to prevent it from sagging. In addition, the transmitter has an integrated magnet so that it can be attached to metal objects for recording if required.

Green Light mode

The transmitter connects to a receiver via the 2.4 GHz frequency band.

Blue Light mode

The transmitters connect directly to selected DJI products via DJI OsmoAudio or to smartphones via Bluetooth. Permitted operating frequencies vary by country and region. Refer to local laws and regulations for more information.

DJI Mic Mini 2 supports the DJI OsmoAudio connection ecosystem. The DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitter connects directly to selected DJI products, namely one transmitter for the Osmo Action 4 and up to two transmitters for the Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo 360, Osmo Nano and Osmo Action 6. The DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitter connects directly to your smartphone via Bluetooth. When the transmitter is connected directly to a smartphone, the noise cancellation level cannot be adjusted in the DJI Mimo app and is set to "Strong" by default; low-cut settings are also not supported in the DJI Mimo app.

The magnetic clip is detachable and also designed to rotate. It can be attached in the side or even inverted clip position so that the microphone can be aimed specifically in the direction of the sound source. This contributes to improved and clearer audio recording. Visually, the transmitter offers interchangeable magnetic front covers, which are available in Obsidian Black and Glaze White as standard. Additionally, multi-colored windshield attachments and other colored magnetic front covers are available to meet individual style and design requirements and to customize the device visually flexible.
The DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitter can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth to support audio recording and live streaming to third-party camera apps. Once connected to a smartphone, the transmitter can be configured and updated via the DJI Mimo app.
