The ME 3 from Sennheiser is a headset for wireless applications. It is compatible with the Evolution Wireless, XSW and D1 series of pocket transmitters from Sennheiser. This headset uses a high quality condenser microphone for clear voice transmission. With its fixed cardioid directional characteristic, it picks up speakers in a targeted manner. It is also characterized by its full and rich sound, a high limiting sound pressure level and very good feedback resistance. Its specific characteristics make the headset a comfortable voice transmitter for a wide audience.

The ME 3 consists of a condenser microphone, a boom and a connecting cable to the transmitter. The design of the headband is flexible enough to adapt to any head size. The signal connection of the microphone runs down the same side as the connection cable. This has a mini-jack connection at its end, which is used to connect to a transmitter. This headset requires 48V phantom power, which the transmitter provides via the signal connection. The ME 3 is sensitive from 1.6mV/Pa.
