Back in 1999, when the internet was still in its infancy, Foto Erhardt launched its online shop and expanded the classic branch shop with a new digital shopping experience. A lot has changed since the founding - from the product range to the design of the website. We have constantly developed our shop and are now one of the best-known photo retailers in Germany. The launch of our site. We are online. At first glance, more a news site and less an online shop.
Unmistakable: photography was still analogue back then.
Now the focus is already on the offers. We have a hotline, the first online customer survey and a free flea market for our visitors.
Foto Erhardt celebrates its 100th anniversary. The online shop got a connection to our merchandise management and "e-learning", the predecessor of today's blog.
Foto Erhardt with a new look, its own Youtube channel and a Facebook presence. Customer satisfaction and security have always been important to us.
The online shop is now bilingual and the mobile version gets its own design. Overall, the look is more modern, with the biggest changes remaining invisible.

1999-2019: We celebrate 20 years www.foto-erhardt.de
As one of the first dealers in Germany, Foto Erhardt already had its own homepage on the Internet in spring 1999. What was a real challenge back then is now, 20 years later, commonplace. Our colleagues Michael Hager and Axel Kersting helped initiate the website and thus the beginnings of today's online shop. In this interview, they both look back on the past 20 years.
