The system camera ILCE-7RM3 from Sony sets new standards. The full-frame sensor is rear-exposed and resolves with 42.4 megapixels. Thanks to the gapless lens-on-chip design, a wide dynamic range and high sensitivity are offered. An anti-reflective coating is applied to the outer glass of the sensor and further innovations enable even more authentic images.

The image processor has been further improved and is now about 1.8 times faster. This means that data is read out quickly with the front-end LSI. The rendering of skin tones has been greatly improved, enabling natural portrait shots. Optimized AF algorithms and the enhanced image processor provide terrific tracking performance, high precision and improved AF speed. The image area is covered densely and extensively with 399 AF points for phase detection and 425 AF points for contrast detection. You can take continuous shots at up to 10 frames per second and capture fast-moving subjects in sharp focus.

The elctronic shutter control allows vibration-free and quiet shooting of animals, for example. The large buffer memory allows you to capture up to 28 uncompressed images or 76 compressed images at a time. During data processing, you still get access to the menu and can change settings. Automatic flicker detection ensures optimal shutter speed tuning so that flicker is minimized in the photos.

Two media slots accept SD or Memory Stick cards, so you have plenty of room for your files. The OLED Tru-Finde resolves to 3.69 million dots, so all details, contrasts, and blacks are accurately displayed. Videos can be recorded realistically in 4K. The recordings can be quickly transferred to your computer for professional editing thanks to USB 3.1.
