Der Canon Power Zoom Adapter hat einen großen Nachteil: In der Tonaufnahme sind sehr deutlich Motorgeräusche zu hören, schade! Dadurch benutzt man den Adapter doch eher selten. Entweder man verzichtet auf den Ton der Aufnahme oder ganz auf den Adapter. In Videoaufnahmen sind ohnehin Zoomfahrten eher nicht zu empfehlen.
