With the SureColor SC-P800, Epson presents its photo printer for professional demands. The printer delivers subtle color gradations and particularly high black density up to A2+ format thanks to its nine-color UltraChrome HD ink set. The improved lightfastness of the ink further increases the archival quality of the prints. As an A2+ printer, the SureColor SC-P800 offers the option of using a paper roll (holder optionally available), opening up special possibilities for photographers and artists for printing panoramic photos, banners or canvas prints for use in stretcher frames ("gallery wraps").

The printer uses a nine-color ink set of UltraChrome HD ink, which is already used in the Epson SureColor SC-P600 photo printer. This ink covers a wide color gamut with particularly high black density. The SureColor SC-P800 is very user-friendly and offers an interactive control panel measuring around 6.9 cm, which enables the use of different media and makes it easy to track printing operations.
Loading paper and switching between different media and sizes is very easy, as the printer has three different paper paths. These include a straight path that allows rigid media to be loaded from the front. The large 80 ml ink cartridges ensure that even large print jobs are completed without changing cartridges. The Epson SureColor SC-P800 is a particularly compact printer and is also suitable for use in cramped studios.
The Epson printer also impresses with its connections. For example, the DIN A2+ printer with WLAN is suitable for wireless use. The SureColor SC-P800 also supports Epson Connect and thus allows printing from a wide range of end devices such as tablet PCs and smartphones - even without a network thanks to Wi-Fi Direct.
