The Action X40 was developed for demanding photographers who need a wide range of equipment. It is an efficient and quickly accessible backcountry camera bag built for use in inclement weather, ever-changing environments and challenging terrain. The X40 is designed to comfortably carry most mirrorless and DSLR cameras (up to 17cm in height), via our DSLR Core Unit series. Thanks to the roll top, the user can expand or compress the volume as required. It features multiple attachment straps, including TPU compression straps for added durability when attaching skis, and its removable helmet holder allows mountaineering, ski or bike helmets to be attached to the outside of the pack. The Action X's interchangeable and adjustable shoulder straps are equipped with two zippered pockets that can hold the latest iPhone Pro Max smartphones, a water bottle or personal accessories. The Action X25, X30, X40 and X50 models feature side camera access and two removable tripod or water bottle pockets that can be slid into the belt position for instant access to essential accessories such as snacks and lenses, or removed completely to save weight. Two padded pockets protect laptops and tablets up to 16 inches. The removable belt, luggage pass-through and hidden AirTag sleeve make the Action X40 an unobtrusive and stylish partner in the city and when traveling. Adjustable torso height - The X40 has three height options with a vertical adjustment range of approximately 9 cm (3 inches).
This means that the same pack can fit smaller or larger, male or female, torso sizes, ensuring a custom fit for everyone.

Core Unit Modular Camera Insert System - The X40 utilizes our DSLR Core Unit series. Core Units provide shockproof protection for mirrorless and DSLR cameras and lenses, ensuring that the user never carries more padding and weight than necessary. The X40 v2 can accommodate our small, medium and large DSLR sizes. It can also accommodate our flatter Mirrorless series.

Two laptop/tablet sleeves - The padded sleeves on the back and front are suitable for laptops up to 16 inches in size

With two sleeves, you can pack both a tablet and a laptop, giving you options for different packing scenarios.

Expandable roll-top access - We've equipped the Action X Series with roll-top access so the bag can be customized to fit your gear needs while maintaining a tight and compact fit. The roll-top can be expanded with a volume range of 7 liters. The top also features an additional YKK SplashGuard® quick access zipper, making access to your gear extremely quick and easy, especially in bad weather.
