A marine binocular, with compass and illuminated reticle for distance estimation, this typical marine 7x50 binocular combines high quality coating with classic porroprism construction. The result is a fast optic especially for use at sea. The Kaleu HDX 7x50 impresses by day and by night with its brilliant image representation and image sharpness up to the edge area, as well as a large field of view of 135m.
Ideal marine binoculars with compass and line reticle
A large, hydrostabilized compass with integrated, switchable illumination ensures that captains at sea always stay on course, even in heavy seas. A red illuminated line reticle allows distance estimation.
Automatic focusing - Smart Focus
In marine applications, nighttime use makes adjusting and focusing binoculars quite difficult. The Kaleu HDX 7x50 is therefore equipped with a so-called Smart Focus. This means that focusing works via a true internal focusing system. After initial focusing, the eye automatically adjusts to different distances without constant refocusing.
Optics with high light transmission
With the FMC-HDX coating, special consideration has been given to the light wave range between 400-500nm - this is the blue light wave range relevant to the human eye, especially at night. The result is a pair of 7x50 binoculars that can deliver very good image brightness and resolution for a long time despite increasing darkness.
Sophisticated binocular optics
In combination with the sophisticated barium crown glass HDX optics, objects can still be recognized in the dark when other binoculars in this category can no longer achieve satisfactory results. In moonlight or backlight, the porro prism system does not allow any false or stray light. The image sharpness fascinates up to the edge of the field of view, the contrast and the color fidelity in the image representation leave nothing to be desired.
Robust workmanship
The fiber-reinforced plastic construction absorbs even falls from greater heights. The Kaleu 7x50 is pressurized waterproof and can withstand salt water up to a diving depth of 5m over a longer period of time. Thanks to the nitrogen filling, fogging of the inner optical lenses is impossible.
