The Panasonic Lumix DC-S1H is a full-frame camera without compromise! It convinces among other things with 6K videos and an integrated fan (heat dissipation) for unlimited recording time. Included in the set Panasonic Lumix S 24mm f1.8 lens.
The Panasonic Lumix S1H is the world's first full-frame camera capable of 6K/24p, 5.9K/30p (16:9) or 10-bit 60p 4K/C4K video.
Its new sensor with low-pass filter uses Dual Native ISO technology with two base sensitivities for minimal noise at high sensitivities. The dynamic range, with over 14-EV stops, is on par with cinema cameras. Its V-Log is compatible with the popular "VariCam" cinema look.
Thanks to Panasonics heat dissipation and a built-in fan, the S1H is ahead of other cameras with unlimited recording time in all shooting modes. In addition, HDR, 4:2:2 10-bit and anamorphic modes are available.
The dual stabilizer compensates for up to 6.5 stops slower shutter speeds. The swiveling touchscreen monitor, 5.8 MP OLED viewfinder, and large shoulder display ensure intuitive operation. Lastly, the rugged body design ensures use in the most adverse conditions.
Full-frame image quality and cropping - 24MP sensor with low-pass filter, dual native ISO and image stabilization up to +6.5 EV, 96 MP HR shot.
Professional video recording - 6K 24p, 4K 30p 4:2:2 10 bit & vlog internally and 60p via HDMI, up to 400 Mbps, 14+ apertures, HDR, anamorphic recording, high speed up to 180 fps/ FHD, timecode, XLR dock (optional)
Perfect operation - true-frame OLED viewfinder (5.8 MP, 120 fps, 0.78x), shoulder-mounted display, joystick, free-tilting touchscreen monitor, illuminated buttons, direct wheels/buttons/levers
Highest reliability - magnesium body, cold/dust & splash water protection, 2 card slots (2x SD with UHS II), 400k resolutions
Excellent focusing - 0.08 sec shutter lag, eye AF, human/animal AF, up to -6 EV, 9 fps with AFS, 4K/ 6K PHOTO at 60 fps or 30 fps, post focus & focus stacking
Individual flexibility - L-mount alliance with Leica and Sigma for wide lens selection, intuitive menu and touch operation, USB charging function, freely assignable function keys
The Panasonic Lumix S 24mm f1.8 impresses with its high imaging performance, and its 9-blade circular aperture provides a particularly attractive bokeh. In addition, the lens offers outstanding portability thanks to its compact size and light weight. It also features a dust- and splash-resistant design and can be used in the harshest conditions down to -10° C. As part of the F1.8 lens series, it shares the same size and position of the controls, as well as the same 67mm filter diameter, for intuitive and consistent handling. Finally, it also ensures high-quality video by suppressing focus breathing.
Sophisticated lens design for best image quality
The LUMIX S 24mm F1.8 lens consists of twelve lens elements in eleven groups, including three aspherical lenses, three extra-low dispersion (ED) lenses, and one ultra-extra-low dispersion (UED) lens. The use of three aspherical lenses and nine circular aperture blades enables both high imaging performance and an attractive bokeh effect with smooth sharpness-blur transitions. The ED lenses and UED lens effectively suppress chromatic aberration. Finally, in the joint development of the F1.8 lenses, emphasis was placed on uniform image appearance as a further quality feature.
Particularly fine eye when focusing
The LUMIX S 24mm F1.8 operates quickly and silently with the camera's high-precision contrast AF system at a maximum of 240 fps. When using manual focus, a non-linear or linear setting can be selected for the focus ring. In the non-linear setting, the focus is shifted by a variable amount according to the rotation speed of the focus ring, e.g. to switch more quickly between focus areas. Whereas in the linear setting, the sharpness is always shifted linearly according to the angle of rotation of the focus ring. The entire focus range can be traversed in 90 to 360 degrees (adjustable in 30 degree increments) in the linear setting.
