Brilliant and sharp images are only possible thanks to an autofocus that adjusts the distance to the subject particularly precisely. Depending on the requirements, the photographer can choose between 5-field or 11-field metering, spot metering, auto-tracking or manual focus field selection. On the other hand, the focus can be set individually via the AF memory button (Auto Focus). In Live View mode, contrast metering with face detection and focus field selection are visible on the entire display.

The built-in Wi-Fi module with NFC connectivity lets you remotely control the camera via smartphone and quickly and easily share your photos with others.

Tamron 17-50 mm / 2.8 XR DI PAF

The SP AF 17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II LD ASPHERICAL[IF] is a fast and compact SP (Super Performance) Zoom exclusively for digital SLR cameras with image sensors up to 24x16 mm. By using 3 XR lenses in the front group and a new mechanical design, it has been possible to achieve the world's shortest close-up distance of only 27 cm with the highest imaging quality, despite the compactness. The magnification of 1:4.5 and the weight of only 434 g are also world class.

By using aspherical elements and LD (LowDispersion) glass, as well as high-quality coating of internal glass surfaces (Internal Surface Coating), aberrations have been reduced to an absolute minimum. The result is extremely sharp and brilliant images of the highest quality. The high speed of the lens makes it possible to shoot even in low light conditions and, at f/2.8, opens up professional image composition with blurred backgrounds and quasi-cleared subjects.
