In-camera five-axis image stabilization (IBIS) is approximately 30 percent more compact and lighter compared to previous models. Overall, the X-S10 weighs just 465 grams and enables up to six EV stops longer exposure times. It is the first mid-range model to be equipped with mechanical shock absorbers on the shutter. These protect the sensor from vibrations caused by the shutter mechanism. As a result, images of high brilliance and sharpness can be achieved in any shooting situation.
The X-S10's large, ergonomic handgrip also contributes to a steady camera posture. It is made of a robust magnesium alloy and guarantees a secure grip even when using larger lenses. For added stability and ruggedness, the top and front body plates are also made of magnesium alloy.

Focusing is as fast as 0.02 seconds and works in the dark down to -7 EV.*3 This performance is made possible by the X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor with 2.16 million phase AF pixels, which works in perfect harmony with the fast-clocked X-Pro processor 4.
Not only is the new camera's autofocus fast, but so is continuous shooting: up to 8 frames per second are possible with a mechanical shutter, and even up to 30 frames per second with an electronic shutter (at a crop factor of 1.25). When using the electronic viewfinder, there is no blackout of the viewfinder image between two exposures, so the view of the subject is not affected during continuous shooting.

The X-S10 has a 7.6cm rotating and swiveling touchscreen LCD that can also be used as a selfie monitor and for shooting photos and videos comfortably from a wide variety of positions.
The electronic viewfinder offers three boost options: "residual light priority" for an easy-to-read display even in dark environments, "resolution priority" for displaying the finest details, and "frame rate priority" for a clear viewfinder image when shooting dynamic subjects.

4K video recording and 10x slow motion.
The X-S10 records 4K/30p-quality video either directly to an SD memory card at 8-bit and 4:2:0 color sampling, or outputs it at 10-bit and 4:2:2 via an HDMI port. In high-speed mode, impressive slow motion with 10x deceleration succeeds with Full HD and 240 frames per second. Even movements that occur in a fraction of a second are vividly captured in the image. In addition to the IBIS system, digital image stabilization is used, which allows for steady and sharp shots even when walking. In IS-Boost mode, the stabilization effect is further enhanced so that all camera movements are compensated for in stationary freehand shots.

Video recording can be started via the video button on the top of the X-S10. This is also possible during shooting. Exposure and focus are automatically adjusted by the camera.

The "FUJINON XF16-80mmF4 R OIS WR" is a compact and weather-resistant Zoomlens for the FUJIFILM X series mirrorless system cameras. It features a consistent F4 speed and covers a focal length range of 16-80mm (equivalent to 24-122mm KB). In addition, it offers a minimum shooting distance of 35 cm over the entire Zoom range. The maximum magnification is 0.25x.
