Capture moments in clear images. Choose up to 11 frames per second with AF tracking or up to 8 frames per second with the Live View function, which offers minimal display lag on the electronic viewfinder or LCD.

With a new copper wire layer and processing circuitry for improved light sensitivity, the image sensor extends the sensitivity range up to ISO 512003 while reducing noise.

The BIONZ X image processor works with the image sensor to deliver photos and videos with more clarity and detail and less noise, especially in the mid-to-high ISO range.

Full pixel readout without pixel binning (approximately 2.4 times (equivalent to 6K) as much image data compressed into 4K) provides the ultimate resolution and realism for 4K video capture.

Take advantage of post-processing

S-Gamut/S-Log enable wide dynamic range shooting (max. 1300%) for creating more expressive video in post-processing. The α6300 even offers 14 stops of exposure latitude in the S-Log3 gamma setting.

Create high-speed shots at 120 (100) frames per second in Full HD with AF tracking. Or record video in 4x/5x slow motion internally.

As befits a Sony camera, WiFi and NFC are on board, as are Sony PlayMemories Camera apps. If you like, you can control the camera remotely or transfer pictures with PlayMemories Mobile, available for Android and iOS. Smartphones without NFC can also be easily connected to the camera via QR code.
