Ready for any moment
Be ready for anything. The extremely fast flash recharge time of only about 0.1 - 0.9 sec. allows up to 170 flash fires at full power. Plus, high-speed continuous shooting is possible at lower power levels.
Power when it counts
The powerful LP-EL battery provides the enormously fast triggering speed of the Speedlite EL-1 - from flash release to flash release. You can expect up to 2,345 flash fires from one charge. The precise battery level indicator lets you know exactly when you need to recharge or replace the battery.
Reliably good shots
When the pressure is on, you can count on the Speedlite EL-1 to deliver. In addition to a guide number of 32, the flash offers the same dust and splash protection as our L Series lenses. An active cooling system prevents overheating, so you can realize much longer usage times.
Flexibility and control
The Speedlite EL-1 can be triggered both wirelessly and optically. So you can illuminate your subject as needed. Use multiple Speedlites together (individually or in groups) for highly creative lighting.
Get even more creative with light
The built-in dual-color LED assist light lets you see where and how the Speedlite EL-1 is illuminating your subject. There’s also a preview of where shadows will fall. Manual flash output can be varied between full and 1/8,192 power.
