HS Freeze 1S clip-on flash

The Rollei HS Freeze 1s adds the first clip-on flash to our successful family. Equipped with a lithium polymer battery with a capacity of 1,600 mAh, a flash output of 80 Ws and a guide number of 60, each adjustable in 9 f-stops, it offers flexibility and performance in a portable format.

With a single battery charge, you can achieve over 450 firings, so you'll have plenty of power to capture your subjects exactly as you want them when you're on the go. Compatible with Canon-, Sony-, Nikon-, Fuji-, Panasonic-, Olympus-cameras as well as with the radio transmitters "Rollei Profi Radio Transmitter", Rollei Profi Radio Transmitter Mark II, Sony is only compatible via (separately available adapter)"Sony-Adapter for clip-on flash HS Freeze 1s")!

Due to the fast recycling time of only 1.5 seconds, shots in quick succession are no problem. The HS Freeze 1s clip-on flash is equally convincing in terms of burning time - this is impressive with up to1/10,000 s in normal mode and 1/50,000 s in freeze mode with an effective flash duration of t = 0.5.

The Rollei clip-on flash offers three different modes for use with the Speedlite mode, the master mode and the slave

In Speedlite mode, the flash is fired exclusively via the hot shoe of the connected camera.
In Master mode, the clip-on flash acts as a radio remote trigger for compatible flashes. In this mode, the integrated flash of the flash head can be activated or deactivated.
In slave mode, the flash can be triggered via other radio triggers, such as the Profi Radio Trigger Mark II.

The HS Freeze 1s clip-on flash offers you TTL and manual flash modes

With TTL, you can enjoy convenient automatic functions, which prove to be very advantageous in changing light conditions, e.g. during outdoor shoots, as they save you the constant manual correction of the flash output on the unit

In manual mode (M), you can conveniently set the desired flash output, as well as all other settings, manually via the 2.8" touchscreen

The flash has the following sync modes in speedlite, slave and master modes.

1. The high-speed sync HSS allows for faster shutter speeds than the usual flash sync speeds. Depending on the camera model, this ranges up to1/10,000 second.
2. Freeze sync offers even higher shutter speeds of up to 1/50,000 s(t = 0.5), depending on
the camera model.
3. With even faster shutter speeds, you can freeze fast movements, flash against the sun, and use more open apertures when shooting portraits outdoors.
4. When synchronizing to the first shutter, the flash fires with a short sync time at the beginning and then uses the ambient light to show the movement

5. the second shutter, the flash fires at the end with a short sync time after the motion is captured via ambient light

To avoid interference when working with multiple units, you can work on 31 channels and 6 groups distributed

Additional flexibility for creative settings and remote trigger operation is provided by the built-in ¼" threaded connector on the outside of the HS Freeze 1s, as well as the included cold-shoe stand. Additionally, the package includes a convenient carrying case that protects the clip-on flash from dirt and dust, as well as a bounce card, charger with charging cable, USB-C cable for firmware updates, and a replaceable lithium polymer battery.

With all these features, it is still compact and weighs just 460g without the battery. So you can easily take it anywhere without having to carry heavy luggage.
