This powerful telephoto lens from Sigma boasts incredible resolution and is suitable for use on full-frame sensors. With stunning contrast and virtually no aberrations, great shots are made possible. The 105mm is the longest focal length in the F1.4 Art product line and allows for beautiful bokeh. Blurred and sharp areas are equally satisfying to the eye.
The lens is constructed with 17 optical elements in 12 groups. Three FLD glass elements, two SLD glass elements, and one aspherical lens element are used so that color aberration is minimized. Thanks to the minimization of sagittal coma, excellent night sky images are possible.
Thanks to the large filter diameter of 105 mm, a significantly larger volume of edge rays is delivered. The lens is also protected from splashing water and dust, so you are ready to use in all weather conditions.
