Der Explorer 1000EU überzeugt im Test. Das Aufladen über das Netz funktionierte sehr gut ( 7 h Ladezeit wie ausgewiesen) . Nachfolgend schloss ich als Elektrogerät ein kleine Wandheizung an, die ich als Frostschutzsicherung in der Werkstatt einsetze. 2,5 Tage sicherte der Akku diese Funktion ab. Die Aufladung über die PV-Module werde ich jetzt testen. Die aktuelle Wettersituation ( -3°C / ab und an einzelne Sonnenstrahlen) wird vermutlich schwierig für die Kombination Explorer/ PV-Module als Ladequelle . Die Module sind ausgeklappt 1200mm breit. Und das zwei mal verlangt ausreichende Platzverhältnisse. Die Beschreibung für die Module ist dürftig, das Aufstellen und der Anschluss war aber selbsterklärend. Die Kabellänge von nur 2,5m des MPPT-Auflade-Kabels setzt der Platzierung des Explorers schnell Grenzen. Das ist unter Beachtung der ausgewiesenen Aufladetemperatur für den Explorer ( 0°C bis 40°C problematisch, wenn ich einen geschützten Ort der Aufstellung nutzen will. Das Werbefoto , wo der Explorer 1000 zusammen mit den beiden PV-Modulen bei schönstem Winterwetter ( Pulverschnee und Sonne) eingesetzt wird, könnte eventuell eine sehr freundliche Auslegung sein. Da der Arbeitstemperaturbereich des Explorers bei -10°C bis 40°C liegt und damit die Hauptfunktion der Stromversorgung auch bei knackigen Temperaturen gesichert ist, schmälert das den insgesamt sehr guten Gesamteindruck nur wenig.
