Coarse movements around the transverse and longitudinal axes (tilting and tilting) can be conveniently controlled using the side clamping levers, while finer adjustments can be made using the adjustment screw. The self-locking fine drive prevents heavy camera constructions from unintentionally falling or dropping when the side clamping lever for coarse adjustment is closed. By increasing the diameter of the fine adjustment screw using the optionally available CAST-FINE-K fine adjustment handle, particularly small, precise angular movements can be achieved

The joints of the longitudinal and transverse axes are equipped with adjustable and zeroable angle scales to ensure reproducible angular positions. With the aid of the integrated spirit levels, these angles can be precisely adjusted to 0° in order to approach them later or set defined angular distances. The device mounting brackets at the top and bottom are equipped with an ARCA-UniQ/C-compatible dovetail profile, a 3/8" hole with 1/4" adapter, a 1/4" mounting screw, as well as holes for video pins for torsion-proof mounting and cut-outs for safety pins. In the basic version offered here, KOPF² is already supplied with a Q=MOUNT quick-release coupling mounted on the upper leg ex works and a PANORAMA=II panorama turntable mounted on the lower leg. With the Q=MOUNT coupling, interchangeable plates are clamped extremely quickly via a double thread - no long screwing, a small part of a turn is sufficient. The safety pin in conjunction with the NOVOFLEX interchangeable plates of the Q=PLATE series prevents the plates from slipping out in either direction. The panorama plate PANORAMA=II has a 360° scale with a 5° subdivision. The mounted geared panhead can be precisely fixed in any desired position with a handy locking screw. It also has a ball bearing, which guarantees clean and play-free running. There is a 3/8" thread on the underside with an insert adapter for 1/4".
