The PT2c belongs to the very first amaran series of full color LED pixel tubes. This new series includes light tubes with approx. 30, 60 and 120 cm length, each equipped with numerous pixel FX and offering RGBWW color quality as well as Sidus Link App & DMX* control and USBC batteries with slim design.

The Amaran PT2c is a compact, versatile 60cm tube light that unleashes your creativity and opens up a wide range of possibilities. The PT2c outperforms other luminaires in its class, with eight built-in pixel faces that can be independently controlled via the Sidus Link app, seven pre-programmed Pixel FX for a variety of scenarios, and nine 9 System FX.

This full-color luminaire's RGBWW LED chipset produces excellent color quality and accurate skin tones. The wide CCT range extends from 2,700K to 10,000K with full green-magenta control. Color rendering values are high with a CRI of 95, TLCI of 98 and SSI (Tungsten) of 85 or SSI (D56) of 75. Powering the PT2c is a 38.5-Wh lithium-ion battery that provides up to 170 minutes of maximum output.

USB-C port is used to charge the battery; USB-C PD even allows fast charging at 20 W to full capacity in less than three hours.

The PT2c has two 3/8"-16 threaded magnetic mounts to make mounting as easy as possible

The magnets allow the light tube to be attached to magnetic surfaces. The 3/8"-16 stud or baby pin is used to attach the light to a stand. Thanks to the clear design of the brackets, light quality and performance is not compromised. Additional 3/8-16-inch threads allow the PT2c to be attached to friction levers and light stands when end cap magnets are not an option. Optional splice connectors open up numerous possibilities for arranging multiple PT2c light tubes in various 3D shapes, as do the Amaran T2c and T4c.

PT2c is controlled via a new interface with the latest user interface on the back of the tube or via the Sidus Link Bluetooth app, which also supports all other Aputure and Amaran product lines. This powerful application can control all the lights in a scene, trigger impressive lighting effects, and ensure that the pixel tubes are always up to date. More complex consoles tethered with a cable USB-C to 5-pin XLR In & Out DMX dongle (sold separately) will unlock DMX control for the entire Pixel Tube product line, such as the Amaran T2c/T4c and F-Series products.
