Aputure LS C120d II (Daylight), V-Mount

The Aputure LS C120D II is a complete redesign of the original C120D. We've taken all your favorite features of the C120D and packed them with upgrades, improvements and new features.

25% brighter
Featuring the Aputure Fresnel, the C120D II has an incredible 135,000 lux of light within 0.5 meters. With an approximate brightness equivalent to a 1,000 watt tungsten lamp, the C120D II is nearly 25% brighter than the first generation C120D. This makes it competitive with some of the highest quality studio lamps on the market.

Impeccable color fidelity
Light quantity is important, but quality is even more important. The C120D II has undergone intensive color quality testing. Not only were CRI values used, but also the industry-standard Television Lighting Consistency Index (TLCI). In both tests, the C120D II achieves a CRI of over 96 and a TLCI of over 97, ensuring that you get the highest color quality possible.

DMX512 capability
DMX is the worldwide industry standard for film and television studios, theaters, broadcast and all forms of digital network systems. The C120D II has a DMX feature that allows studio creatives to maximize the range of applications for their lighting arsenal.

Create quality upgrades
The original C120D was revolutionary for its compact size and high build quality. Now, the C120D II takes it a step further with a new round of upgrades.

Combined Controller-Power Unit
The most notable of these upgrades is the power supply. The C120D II is now powered by a single all-in-one power unit. A single power unit is made of aircraft aluminum, yet is lightweight and means fewer cabling and power components. Filmmakers need less time to set up lights and have more time to be creative.

Neutrik Cable Locks
Color-coded Neutrik cable systems provide more flexibility in the placement of your light, and advanced locking systems ensure maximum security, no matter the challenges or environment of your equipment.

Handbrake parking brake
A redesigned yoke design allows for an extended range of motion of over 330 degrees, so you can tilt and aim the light anywhere you want. An improved, user-friendly handle design also allows for highly intuitive operation.

Featherweight design
While the C120D II boasts impressive studio-quality build quality, it still weighs just over 2.2kg, so filmmakers can easily take this light anywhere without having to worry about the transportation issues often associated with larger tungsten spotlights.

5500K
While the original C120D was used at 6000K, the C120D II has a perfect daylight of 5500K, so it pairs perfectly with other daylight-balanced lights in the Aputure ecosystem.
