The EOS R7 delivers up to 15 frames per second with mechanical shutter and up to 30 frames per second with electronic shutter to reliably capture even the fastest subjects. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with Deep-learning technology covers 100% of the frame, providing fast and accurate subject detection for people, animals and vehicles. In-camera and optical image stabilization combine to compensate for up to 8 stops of exposure to reduce camera shake. You can record video in 4K at up to 60p and up to 120p in Full HD with more than 30 minutes of Canon Log 3 for wide dynamic range and more post-production options.

The EO R7 is equipped with an APS-C sensor. That offers 1.6 times more telephoto range with your lens than the same focal length on a full-frame camera. You'll feel like you're standing right next to your subject, easily capturing image-filling wildlife portraits and striking action shots.

Next Generation Autofocus - With Deep-learning AI and Scene Recognition

The EOS R7 has been equipped with Deep-learning AI and iTR AF technology, also found in the EOS R3, EOS R5 and EOS R6 cameras. This allows it to recognize people, animals and vehicles and keep them razor sharp, no matter how they move in the frame.

Autofocus that exceeds expectations

For wildlife photography, the camera's ability to detect birds in flight and keep them in focus as they fly across the landscape will generate excitement. The EOS R7's in-camera Image Stabilizer (IBIS) opens up new creative possibilities and could make you rethink the way you use your camera system.

Shoot smoothly - even when things get wild

The camera's IBIS works in tandem with the optical IS that equips many of our RF lenses. Thanks to the RF bayonet's tremendous communication speed and large diameter, up to 7 stops of exposure can be compensated with the RF-S 18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM and up to 8 stops with other RF lenses. Stabilization is provided via 5 axes, allowing for handheld blur-free shooting even at long exposures.

And if you're using a lens without optical IS (such as a fast fixed focal length), the EOS R7's IBIS still provides highly effective blur protection through the EOS R System's wide bayonet

Quiet videos

When shooting video, IBIS and optical IS are complemented by a third technology: Movie Digital IS. Together, these systems compensate for camera shake to such an extent that you might think the footage was shot with a gimbal.
